This method works 80% all the time.
Most of the computer virus from the windows operating system hide the data from your flash drive.
(Windows 8 and up)
1. To show the hidden files,
-Open your windows Explorer by pressing the windows key + E
-Click the View tab, and uncheck hidden items.
-Click Options, on its View Tab, uncheck "Hide protected operating system files"
2. Open your flash drive contents, NOT BY BROWSING TO THE COMPUTER FOLDER but,
by performing windows key+ R and type the drive letter of the flash drive (Example: C://)
3. Perform windows key + R again and type CMD, click OK.
4. On the Command Prompt (CMD), type the drive letter (Example: "e:"), then click Enter.
5. Type "-r -a -s -h /s /d", then click Enter.
This will unhide all files and folder.
6. Delete the .inf files and files with malicious appearance or gibberish text. Also delete .exe files that should'nt be there!
7. That's it.
If virus stil exists or you'r files is still hidden, you should reformat your computer because it is infected with the virus.
