In order to connect to the internet, you will need the following requirements:
- Desktop Computer with Windows Operating System (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and 10) or
- Android Device (Android Version: Kitkat, Lollipop and Marshmallow)
- USB Modem (Globe Tattoo, Smart or Sun Broadband)
- Wifi Router (optional)
- At least 5.00 load credits loaded to your sim
Steps on how to connect to the internet
- Open the computer and start the broadband application
- Click the connect button
- Open your Internet Browser (Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome)
- and Type 192.168.1.1 in the url.
- Once the page load, please enter your username and password. If you have trouble logging-in, ask your internet service provider
- After logging in, the account details will be displayed
- Take note or copy all the required details in a paper.
- To test the internet packets, open the Command Prompt
- Press Windows Key
+ R (Run) Type cmd and hit Enter - On the Command Prompt Console, type "ping google.com -t"
- Wait for it to finish loading, it only usually takes a while
